Clippers vs. Hawks Game Day 2025-11-10

Clippers Forum » Clippers Game Day

Please post your predictions for the game coming up versus the Hawks. What are the Clippers keys to get a victory? Which opposing player(s) should Los Angeles focus on? Will the game be bombs away by both teams or defensively-oriented? Who will step up?

Collins & Dunn starting the game, along with Harden, Zu & DJJ

Pretty hook by Zu, Clips UP 6-2, which has been unusual during the losing skid

DJJ nice drive and now the second effort! Clips 10, Hawks 2

DJJ good hustle, saves the ball. That's what you need- energy like that

Lopez a looong 3- first bingo for the Clips in 7 tries

Cam Christie gets the early call again

Lopez don't know what he's doing there- terrible pass leads to the easy fastbreak slam by the Hawks. But the Clipper offense can't just be Harden and then everyone else standing around

Lol Harden's lob to DJJ was so bad it clanked off the backboard but went right to DJJ anyways

Clips play solid defense, up 29-19 after 1

How about that- Christie the steal, to Kobe Brown on the run for the slaaaaam!

This time a terrific look by Lopez to Cam in the corner- bingo!

Dunn the sneaky foray into the paint, and 1! That's what he needs to do more- be more aggressive going to the hoop. Second one today already.

Bunch of 3s by Kreji and the Clipper lead has dwindled to 6

What a chase down block by DJJ to end the half. Clips with a bad second Q- game is knotted at 52 at halftime

Big bingo by Collins to put the Clips up 3

Clippers just cannot generate enough offense with this second unit. Now down 87-79

Batum has been terrible shooting 3's this season- airballs that one which would've tied it

It's Harden or bust right now for the Clipper offense- another bingoooooo! Tied at 92!

Clippers can't even handle Hawks' hard double on Harden, now has to call timeout. Awful. Defense is there but there has to be a 3rd scoring option other than Harden & Zu, but nobody has stepped up.

A BS 3 by Krecji and that might seal the game, but the Beard the bingo, and 1! Cuts it to 4- FT can cut it to 3 with 25 ticks left

DJJ with a tremendous steal but Harden looks like he wasn't aware of the clock chucking that quick 3 which almost went in.

Clips get a big break as they missed both FTs, but Batum fumbles it out of bounds trying to shoot the tying 3. SMH!

Hi everyone, this is really depressing. 5 losses in a row! There's no more Norman Powell off the bench. Please mr. Steve Ballmer, can you please trade Kawhi, for a bag of chips? And blow up the team? You were OK to let Paul George go at some point. Why keep holding on to a loser, Kawhi. It doesn't matter how good a player he is, if he never plays. His teammates need his help and he's nowhere to be found. This is not working. Time to start over. It's not even fun to watch them play anymore.

This season is supposed to be another, championship or bust? Well, it's a complete bust. There's really no hope. So blow it up.

And if you blow it up, can you get rid of the coach to? Part of his job is to find and train new hungry young players that want to win. Well, he doesn't do that at all. So there's no young capable players left.

Chris Dunn, please. Sure he's good in defense, but he has no offense. John Collins, he's nothing special. He's just OK. Defense, nobody's playing defense. It's really bad.

I've been watching and cheering for the Clippers since Blake Griffin was drafted by the clippers. I can tell for a fact that, this team is definitely not going to work right now. Might as well just play the youngsters. They are at least more fun to watch. They hassle. I feel bad for Harden. He does play hard, same with Zubac. But that's it.

Gotta say- looking pretty bad right now. KL and Beal are probably unable to stay healthy. CP3, Lopez and Batum are riding into the sunset- first two are a step slow and Nico just can't find the stroke right now. Young guys have energy but can't provide a consistent offense. They didn't play Bogie tonight but he hasn't exactly played well. DJJ, Dunn & Collins are solid role players, but not scorers. If the Clippers still had Powell, likely 6-4 at least vs 3-7 right now. Upcoming road trip is going to be tough, so the season could get very ugly quickly. And the Clips may well become sellers at the trade deadline.

No easy season-long solutions right now it seems. Maybe give Kobe Sanders, Jordan Miller & Niederhauser some time in the second unit and sit CP3 & Lopez.

These are good points. When you consider how many draft picks the Clippers don't own and how many they could possibly lose as part of the Uncle Dennis/Tree planting investigation, would it be wise to cut the chord and just trade as many assets for future draft picks?

I mean think about it. If the old guys aren't leading us anywhere then what's the use of keeping them around. It may be time to rebuild. Get some semblance of draft picks back in the mix along with cap space

We need a 3rd scorer so badly. If Beal cannot get back in form, isn't Jordan Miller our best option?
