In fact Dunn was the X factor, he injected energy into the team. If I recall correctly he
had a sequence of three offensive rebounds in a row in the same play.
Zu was limited, I think it's because they didn't send him more plays to the low post this
time, since he had a bigger and heavier guard than him, I think the focus that the
coaching staff gave to the offense was to attack Kennard, plus Zu was filled with
fouls at the beginning of the game.
I was pleased to see another 3-point threat with Bogdan, when Simmons is ready I
wonder what his role will be on the team, I think it will be a combination of Center who
can dribble and pass the ball. In training he is with Zu practicing the hooks and
floaters near the rim, if he masters that hook like Zu it will be useful given that his
versatility will be greater especially when Lu plays small ball, he will put
Simmons and Batum.
It's a shame Mills is only playing garbage time. I haven't seen him play in a while and
maybe he's not as effective as before, but I liked watching him. A fast point guard
with an effective 3-point shot. I hope he has a limited role but they can take
advantage of him at some point. Just as youth is important, so is veteran status in
the locker room. When things get complicated, the veterans are the voice that makes
sure everything is put in the right measure.
