Clippers vs. Indiana Pacers Game Day 2025-02-06

Clippers Forum » Clippers Game Day

What are your thoughts on the game against the Indiana Pacers? What are the Clippers keys to get a W? Who on the Pacers should LA be wary of? Will the game be bombs away by both teams or defensively-oriented? Are there any injury/player availability updates?

I don't see the Pacers making any deals unless they finally part with Myles Turner so they could very well be at full strength. The one thing that I like about playing teams on trade deadline day is that whoever they trade for isn't in uniform yet so the Clips have an advantage. That's of course assuming the Clips didn't make a deal either

I hate picking against the Clips but they've been in a rut as of late. They'll get out of their slump eventually but I just don't see it yet unless they can get back to nailing more 3's and playing some perimeter defense

Good start- slam dunk by Zu, and now the ball ping pongs out to Powell who calls bingo!

Clippers making their open 3's which is a breath of fresh air. Now Turner loses control of the ball and misses the uncontested dunk lol.

Turnovers and it's 5 in row right away by the Pacers- good timeout by Ty Lue

Myles Turner groggy after getting an inadvertent forearm in the face from his teammate.

Powell heating up, layup, now snipes in the 3

It's a 3 point shooting contest, and the Clippers, who have had better looks, are winning big in that area. Coffey bingo and Clips now up 29-14.

Eubanks looking pretty mobile out there

Coffey the trifecta!

Clippers outgun the Pacers in the first Q and lead 42-22!

Turner is in concussion protocol and won't be back this game. Hope he's going to be okay.

Shephard playing well for the Pacers. Clipper lead is down to just 10 just like that as the 3's have stopped falling.

Clippers just 1-10 in the second Q.

The starting lineup restoring order- Powell & now JH to the skying DJJ for the slam. Clips back up 10.

Turnover city and the Clipper lead is now just 2- ugh

Clippers now TRAIL by 4 as Siakam drills another 3. Crazy turnaround. Now another brick, another fast break for the Pacers for the and 1.

Big 3 by DJJ, and the Clippers end up trailing by 4 going into the half. That was an awful last 5 minutes.

Harden driving layup, cuts it to 4

Powell the drive and kick to Coffey for the corner bingo, now Norman draws the charge. Clips down just 3.

If only Dunn can make some shots lol

Harden feeling it, hits the bingo and the Clippers LEAD 86-84!

Now Harden the perfect long pass to Eubanks in stride!

Clippers dig themselves from undereath the rubble of a 13 point deficit and now lead 88-84 going into the 4th

Other teams have been pushing the pace after Clipper missed 3's lately, and once again Kawhi's decision to settle for a 3 results in a fastbreak going the other way

Better choices by Leonard the last two shots- both around the paint

Wow Kawhi gets a call?

And apparently that wasn't a foul upon replay review

Harden invokes Lawler's Law

Free chicken if the Clippers win as the Mathurin missed both FTs- apparently the former is required

Clippers down 3 now with 1:39 left- will be in a world of hurt if this call is not overturned

Call stands ugh- 2 FTs for Mathurin

OMG Harden just loses the ball unforced, and the Clippers now down 112-105

No free chicken unfortunately as the Clippers recent struggles continue. The same story once again as the Clippers lost most of the 50/50 balls, had numerous defensive lapses and so many killer turnovers.

Kawhi looked solid and was able to play lots of minutes. BUT- it looks like he has lost some hops and perhaps a step as well, and is unable to make the plays on both ends he used to. He also had 5 turnovers and ended up with a -10.

Yeah got badly outscored after that. Guys gotta obey the law next time!

Kawhi and FatJames just need to retire. Or take up a sport that they actually want to play.
