Nice start for the Clips. Harden the behind the back to Zu for the slam, now the bingo up top by Powell!
Zu is dominating Richards inside, but Clippers having trouble stopping the Suns thus far
WOW what a putback slam by DJJ! Caught it with one hand and just powered it home from the sky!
Good sign as the Clippers are shooting well from deep. Second one there by Harden, and before that the corner bingo by DJJ.
Jones banks in a lucky 3 and the Clippers trail 34-30 at the end of 1Q
Plumlee causing issues for the Clippers. PHX also has made *10* 3's, including many wide open looks off of offensive rebounds.
Kawhi landed awkwardly there after the slam. Seems to be okay, but we'll have to see.
Thankfully Kahwi seems to be fine- makes a nice scoop layup in the lane there with the left. 3 point shooting is off for him though- misses another badly.
Another offensive rebound, another bucket for PHX. Clips now down 49-38.
Zu the fake pass and powers it home past Richards!

The usually tough Clipper defense is getting shredded by the Suns small 3 point shooting lineup. Clips trail 60-47 at the half.

That was a huge 5 point switch. Pure effort by Powell to chase down Durant on the break to steal the ball from him, then comes down and nails the bingo!

That was big- turnover by Harden, but Jones gets it back and Harden cuts it 3 with that bingo
Timely bingo by Harden to slice the deficit to 5 at the end of 3Q. Gonna need the Suns to miss more 3's in the 4th to get this one.

Biggest difference in the game thus far- Suns able to make most of their open 3's while the Clippers are hitting at a lower than usual rate

Wow Booker hooks Harden's arm but they call jump ball instead. They win the jump ball, get the offensive rebound, and KD drains another open 3. Clippers in a world of hurt now, down 13 with 5 minutes to go.
Powell limping a bit after turning the ball over at the rim. Now DJJ gets hit on the dunk attempt and they call it super late like it'd only be a foul if the shot was missed

Clippers are challenging the foul called on Harden on the Beal drive. Minor contact, certainly less than all these no calls the Clippers have been subjected to. Unsuccessful challenge, of course.
Interesting- they foul the Clippers intentionally with 19 seconds left. Powell misses the first FT though- ouch.
Tough loss. Hard to win when you're playing 5 vs 8. Credit the Suns though for being very sharp, especially with hitting all those 3's.
