I have taken care of patients in the parking lot, had ICU patients in the ER and a the wait time can be 4 hours and once was 8.pre COVID People forget that primary care clinics are closing so chronically ill patients get sicker end up in the ER. A high risk pregnancy. She could deliver in the car and she and the baby could die. Diabetics where blood sugar monitoring is impossible. They will die ETC. Heart attack season is January. If you have a heart attack or bleeding ulcer you could die.Even if you don't believe in COVID think of this.

Even if you live in BH,. L A County Hospital will be unable to treat all their patients so ICU patients will be sent to Cedars. If you have let's say 10 people to staff a ward then 1 gets sick. Then 9 have to the work of 10 then 9 have to do the wok of 8 and the system will break.

It's been 8 months and people still think this COVID is just like a flu, Healthcare worker are already tired, my son work in Public health and even it it's Saturday and Sunday they are visiting places doing a COVID testing.

Then in one week the whole thing WILL collapse. I gave you the sugar coated version. Your stomachs are not ready for the worst case scenario.

They are begging for the public to take precautionary measures. Maybe if you do you will save a life.

Learn first aid, find telemedicine, get a thermometer. Read up on the flu.If you have any respiratory illness at all including a cold, isolate. If you have something like diabetes, make sure you are prepared and educated.

A friend took care of a COVID denier. He ranted and ranted that COVID is a hoax , the flu. He shut up only when the put a tube down his throat and put him on a vent. .

How about instead of trying to scare people for almost a year now, we start telling people to take zinc, vitamin d, and vitamin c?

ACA (affordable care act) does that. It's called "preventative care". Every time I go see my doctor, she tries to get me to stop smoking. I always tell her when I ready, I'll let her know. She always replies back by saying she will keep telling me that till I'm ready. lol

My point is that most doctors will tell you what you don't want to hear. My decision to keep smoking is my responsibility and if I happen to suffer at a later stage in life as a result, I know I was well versed on the effects of smoking. My dad didn’t want her to be alone so he stayed with her and took care of her. They slept in the same bed and everything. He got tested and tested positive. He had no symptoms so he took another test that came back negative 2 days later while he was still taking care of her. He did not get the virus and she is better now. It is not as deadly as we thought it would be at the beginning. Over 99% survival rate. You guys need to wake up. Stop letting the media and big tech control your lives with fear.

I don't smoke around anyone. I don't smoke in public. I don't put others in danger that don't smoke. My consequences don't endanger anyone. I make sure I don't put myself in a situation where I will make others annoyed by my second hand smoke. Remember that.

Wearing a mask on the other hand, is meant to protect OTHERS first. Frankly, I don't care if you wear your mask with your nose exposed. What I am worried about is what comes out of your mouth. When I wear it, I wear it with the intent that others will give me the same courtesy as I am giving them. Furthermore, businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone not following their rules.
