Paul Pierce and Diamond Stone 1 on 1 (heated)

Lol Pierce let's him have it with the trash talk. Stone pushes him in the back and Pierce says "Where's your technique? Don't just do **** just to do it" and more. Basically just a 1 on 1 game /training that seems a bit heated and competitive. Good stuff. I don't know who that assistant is but he cussed at Stone a couple times too haha. Stone looks very skilled. I hope he gets some minutes this year at times.

I like stones physical attributes. His moves looked pretty rough and unpolished, but may just be because he is rookie. Always interesting to see the leap between college and pro.

Time will tell, hope he can be a 2nd steal like DJ.

Like his shot for a big guy. Does anybody know his standing reach?

Stone's is 9'-0 1/2". DJ's is 9'-5 1/2" for comparison. Ruby Gobert's is 9'-7".

i hope so, we've had a lot of bad draft pick the past couple of year...Bullock, Wilcox, Dawson, etc. We are due for some good ones. Even Doc won't always bat .000

One nice thing about this team is that for a young player, not only are there a ton of good examples of hard workers, especially the stars all being very hard workers, there are also a lot of older guys who seem to love working with the younger guys.

Probably won't get much time unless he can defend. Doesn't look like a good defender really...

You can still see that compared to the vets, his footwork is not as tight, but at that age, that's expected, but it is nice that he gets to work with all these guys. Also have to add that CP's ability to create space for shots, even out of triple threat is quite impressive. There's a video where he's teaching younger guys and talking about how he just gets slightly to the side of the defender, or his pattented side step jumpshot and he can get shots off in spots you wouldn't expect.

Our own Diamond stone has been playing solid ball lately in the D-league after a string of DNP-CDs. Anyway here are some highlight videos from those games for anybody interested. There are a few nice dunks, blocks and strong rebounds in those videos. Stats say he's still a little bit of a foul machine and from those videos it looks like he's prone to force the issue when he's looking to score, but there are some encouraging signs as well

Enjoy

Not bad, but still looks like he's a couple years away from contributing in the big league.

Thanks for posting those.

Definitely potential there. As tense2 says, not right now but perhaps in another season or two he'll be ready to go. Unless he gets traded.
