I heard the news this morning and couldn't believe it. He got them to finals last year, however, rough start this season. The west is brutal!

This is pretty shocking to say the least, especially for a team that went so far in the playoffs last season. They have had some bad losses, however, but this seems premature. The GM is probably just trying to cover his own ass for questionable moves such as getting Ty Lawson in the offseason.

Lawson was a good addition IMO. Not the problem.

McHale was never known as anything more then a average coach at best, so no big deal.

Yeah seems pretty harsh. But I suppose it can be like that in multi million dollar industries! The managers in the Premier League can drop like flies at times.

Brutal. At least McHale has 12 million reasons to comfort him. Nice payday for 11 games.

This was a bit of a shocker. Ok, they've had a bad start but it's very early. Coming off a WCF appearance last year you'd have thought McHale had enough credit in the bank to see out this season at least.

Have they hired a new head coach yet?
