what would it take to have him? I would be all for it Miami has also made the "birdman" available as well I think he would be big for the clippers if we could also trade for him he's practically all defense with some ok-decent offense

I wouldn't touch Wade with a 10 foot pole. He is old, washed up with no jump shot or 3 point shot. He will be good for 50 games in the RS and its doubtful he stays healthy in the playoffs. Not to mention he isn't an SF so he doesn't fit a need. We already have Lance and Redick. This is not a prime Wade, its a Wade that is pretty much over the hill.

Of course it depends on the trade but I don't see it being favorable unless we dump Crawford or something.

The good thing the odds Miami are interested are slim to none. If they are trading Wade they would want far more than spare parts. I would be very afraid if they were interested in trading Wade to us. I have a feeling Doc would pull the trigger.

Wade is getting up there in age but I must say his stats are still very impressive from last season. He would be exactly what the Clippers need- toughness + championship experience, a slasher who can draw fouls, and will battle for those 50/50 balls. Durability is probably the biggest concern, so his minutes need to be managed wisely to be ready for the playoffs.

I'd seriously consider a D-Wade & Whiteside for DeAndre Jordan & Jamal Crawford trade.... But Wade wants $$$, so his agent is just drumming up interest for leverage vs the Heat. The guy is settled in Miami and I'd be surprised if he changes teams.

Not really. He's feeling the heavy weight of the over 30 player. Stay away and let him sail off into the sunset in Miami.....which after all is said done, he will.

When he plays, yes, but that's been a real problem for him in his career and it won't get any better the older he gets. Hope he can retire in Miami.

Oh and last season he wasn't better than any SG on 20+ teams. Think those days are gone.

Wade is still the 3rd best SG behind Harden and Klay.

Wade doesn't fit our team as well as JJ or a Danny Green, but come playoff time I'd like our chances with a starting lineup of CP/Wade/Pierce/Griffin/Jordan.

Miami's not going to consider it, they've got Whiteside a lot cheaper than what DJ would cost them, and besides I remember hearing that Whiteside doesn't really like Doc very much, doubt if he would be very motivated to play for him.

True but I believe he specifically wanted to join our training camp but never even got an invite or a chance. Won't blame Doc for that particular move. No one knew he was gonna be that good but I am gonna blame him for countless other blunders.

DWade still one of the best SG but becoming a Clippers is very slim.

Wade would play anywhere from 45-60 games total next season. He'd be missing an absolute ton of games and who knows how healthy he will be come playoff time, when the team would need him most. If he could remain healthy all 82 games it would be a steal, as when he does actually play and log in 30+ MPG he's productive and still a force. However, those nights are few and far between and I don't think we can take a flier on a guy who may need to miss 3-4 games a month because his shoulder hurts.

Dwayne actually had a solid season production wise, when he was healthy.

He fell from a top 5 Sg, but def top 10.

His knees are bad so he doesn't play as many minutes as he use to but his per36 is still really good.

If we could get wades production from last year on this team we'd have a sure contender.
