With that said, I think Harden will win. [url=http://clippers.newssurge.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-12872.html#508669
However, check me if I am wrong,Harden not being a PG is not on the list. But he does play for the Flopettes so I can see it. Just another flopping ball hog like the Mamba (only at least Mamba doesn't flop) that has made his name by looking out for himself.

Well is say mamba made his name by winning 5 championships, and being hands down the best player in the world in his prime. Please don't ever use him in the same sentence as harden.

Kobe was never the clear cut best player in the world. There is a reason why he only won one MVP and it was by robbing Paul blind....

Also don't give me the he deserved it over Nash argument. He wasn't even 2nd in MVP voting and several other guys were more deserving.

Best player of Kobe's generation was Duncan and it isn't even close though Kobe is obviously far more popular due to his demeanor and playing on the biggest market in basketball.

Don't hate. I'm not a Kobe fan, but it's just being real.

Duncan dominates Kobe by every measure but popularity. The only argument Kobe had over Duncan was ring count now that argument is gone.

3 FMVPs vs 2 FMVPs

2 MVPs vs 1 MVP

Better stats, especially advanced stats.

Far better team success and great consistency. Also doesn't cause drama for his team.

Noticeably better playoff performer, especially finals performer.

Kobe is a great player but yea he isn't on Duncan's level and never will be. This isn't an insult to Kobe rather it just shows how good Duncan is. His consistency and dominance is underrated.

Lmao.... Your argument is based on winning awards that are VOTED on? So Derrick Rose > Cp3? Cp3 doesn't have an MVP?

Far better team success? 7 Championship appearances and 5 wins? Not sure how you get "Far" better than that?

You do realize Kobe has had some of the best seasons of any Guard in NBA history, including Jordan.

30ppg 6 apg 7 RBG 2 Stl shooting 45% and 38% from the field... But he isn't on Duncans level?

35 ppg 4.5 ast 5 Trb 1.8 stl??? But he wasn't the best player in the world. LMAO

Tim Duncan is a Great PF, but comparing an SG to a PF is apples and oranges. But if you must, Kobe is definitely better. That's why Kobe is mentioned with being the Best player ever, up there with Jordan. That's not just "media hype", and it's not just people who "Don't know basketball". In fact it's basketball experts and NBA hall of famers who all agree.

Like I said I understand this is a Clipper forum, and hate all things lakers. But I'm a Basketball fan FIRST, and I have to be honest.

How do you get noticeable better than 29 pg 6 AST and 7.3 TRB in a championship run???

I'm assuming you just started watching basketball in the last 3 years, or you just don't know much about Kobe or is stats.

In what world is Kobe better than Duncan?

I wish Duncan had 1/4 of as many brainwashing Nike commercials as Kobe has had throughout his career. Then and only then would people give Duncan the respect he deserves.

There's only two players in the history of the game that you can take ahead of Duncan if you're building a franchise. MJ and Kareem.

And I am assuming your a casual basketball fan that only watches ESPN highlights. Duncan had multiple playoff runs better especially 03. 24.7 ppg/15.4 trb/5.3 assist/3.3 blks and he scored on higher efficiency. Not only was he an absolute monster offensively but his defense was far better. Guards can score more but their defense can't compare to the defense of a....
