Makes sense

Only Doc hahaha

Omfg not again.......

Get Doc outta here.. I literally can't stomach another one of his moves. He's so loyal to trash players its disgusting. Bassy played for him in Boston so of course there's an olive branch for a guy like him. And I don't give a sh*t if all the "we should smile and be happy" types hate this post.

Everyone remember how much of a beast Telfair was with us in 09?

That was five years ago. That's a lifetime in basketball years.

Lol. Because we sure do need another guard!

Doc wants to go small for a while? Fine... I think it's a poor decision, but he's the guy who gets paid to coach. What I really can't understand though, is that he HAS another guard sitting there with his thumb up his arse who just went 4/4 for 10 points in under 10 minutes like TWO F*CKING HOURS AGO!

Man... if Bullock was 'on a short leash' then this poor Wilcox kid is in a cage!

Meanwhile the 76ers just found servicable 6'9" Robert Covington out of the D League who would've been a nice addition to our team

I think he was kidding...at least I hope so.

Absolutely. Doc has a serious issue with young talent, it's really starting to bother me. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Doc won't play young talent when he gives away draft picks like they're M&Ms.

I am actually walking around with a signed cap form back then with his autograph on it. What goes around (should stay flushed).

This is exactly the way Dodgers GM got pushed out of the way for hiring nothing but old guys and washed out SF Giants. Tick Tock Doc.....your choices seal your future.

Or....is this his way of admitting Doc jr ain't all he thought he was cracked up to be.

Maybe he's smarter than we're all giving him credit for... $40,000,000 guaranteed over the next 4 years is a pretty nice retirement plan.

I know I wouldn't be too concerned about getting fired.

How many toilets and trashcans need cleaning at Staples after every game, maybe the world's highest paid janitor. Seems he is getting used to picking up garbage.

^that was cold, wasn't it

ETA: I think Doc is thinking to add another guard probably because Austin is suffering from an injury too. Was questionable for today's game and played through it.

He wouldn't get fired he would just lose his job of fake GM and have to give it to a real GM and deal with what he is given.

Maybe JJ`s out for another long period of time.

Really? Telfair? If you want to go after a guard, get Nate Robinson. At least he can impact a game like Jamal can. Telfair makes no sense. Doc needs to be stripped of GM duties like right now.

He only play young players if they are blood related.... Smfh.

Dan Woike had tweeted that JJ might be available tomorrow, supposedly working out earlier in the day and see how that goes. Doc wants to be cautious and not play him though until he is 100%.

No more than necessary, Ron.

Does anyone have connections with Steve Balmer can we at least have a town meeting to discuss Docs choices.

Don't think that's going to work, LOL.

Telfair is about as exciting as a Foghat concert.

Remember, giving away draft picks like they were M&M's was exactly the way Jim Buss destroyed the Lakers. Doc seems hell bent on emulating Jimbo's strategy. (Except picking up Hawes instead of Ed Davis.)

There's few players I like less. Bassy sucks.

Slow Ride,take it easy

omg no. Go to the D-league and take a chance on some young talent.

Doc saying he may just go small ball. This dude is just some stubborn ****. its alright to go small ball if you have a guards like Ebled on phoenix, you don't go small ball if your players are slow and weak.

I'm not to excited with this news. Don't think it will go through though.

I just don't understand why they are even interested when Nate Robinson is just there sitting at home waiting for a call.

This is exactly what is happening! Giving up assets to git rid of Dudley has turned out to be horrible!

So pretty much gave up Bledsoe and a future pick to get JJ.

Telfair?! on a 10 day contract?

I'd rather sign Jo. Crawford, Will Bynum, or Nate. In that order.

We should be trying to dump hawes and sign Blatche.

Haha yeahhh, ma man CJ! Too bad, I'm really really hoping Doc FINALLY puts CJ into the rotation tomorrow, he balls out, and Doc realizes he doesn't have to sign garbage like Telfair when you have a plethora of guards just waiting to play.

To play small ball successfully, you need small players who can flat out light it up from three and a PG who can break down the defense. We have that in Paul, but what about the other spots… JJ would work… Perhaps Barnes, but that's it. Jamal is a marginal shooter at best and Austin is no better. Sorry, but we don't have the firepower for it.

What I think we should do in Blake's absence is slow things down, defend and punish. Try to keep the games close by keeping the scores down and making it hard for the other team to score. This is less than an ideal scenario, but when a team is undermanned and outmatched athletically, it is better to try to hide it than it is to accelerate the game.

Some of us will now see just how great and valuable a player Blake Griffin is. We simply can't replace him. Hopefully the good that comes from this is an appreciation for how good we have it and how hard Blake plays. We survived without Chris Paul fairly well last year, in large part because of Collison. But also in large part because Blake was able to step up and do more, much more.

We don't have another player who can do that.

Read somewhere Doc just wants to use 10 days because he doesn't want to commit to someone early. Since buyout season hasn't even started yet.
