I didn't know where to post this, but do you guys know who Brady Heslip is? Is he any good? Hearing rumors the clippers are looking to sign him?

Undersized SG at 6'2 but he's a GREAT shooter. Basically another Redick. You might be able to convert him to PG but not really sure how his defense is. Just know he's been lighting it up in the D League and Dan Patrick loves him.

Was hoping he was a small forward. You guys think this means Crawford or Redick is being moved?

If Clips are still interested, hope "ears" is gone.

If Heslip is coming here there are a lot of guys who can be moved to make a roster spot that we would never miss. CDR, Cunningham, Udoh, Wilcox… Perhaps even Farmar.

He's a very one-dimensional player on a d-league team that is all about taking fast shots. It's hard to imagine what he would be as an NBA player. But if you are only going to have one part to your game, three point shooting is a good one to have. The thing that makes this rumor hard to buy into is that Farmar is the same sort of player who has had success at the NBA level, rather than just in the d league.

Here are Brady Heslip's d-league stats:

Maybe he is going to be a replacement for Farmar?

I just hope we are keeping Cunningham, Doc doesn't play him but he got the skills that every team needs 1 of, He is always attacking the rim and plays hard every minute and also is athletic and willing to defend. Yes he has some bone headed plays but most players that play at reckless pace like him does. Why are we trying to get slower and shorter on the wings?

Clips looking at Khem Birch too.

Rather than releasing Farmar, I wouldn't mind using him to add salary in a trade for a better SF.

Yet another guard?

I thought he signed to go to Turkish team??

Doc sure loves the SGs.

Although if some players are traded or let go he can be the 10 day contract to get.

I wouldn't think tow of our higher scorers are going to be moved for a D-league guy, if they were we would know for sure Doc lost his mind..........but I could see something happening with Farmar....maybe just to light a fire under his arse. Is Jamal wracking up too many minutes for his age?

Attempting to get another scrub who will have a 5% chance of contributing. What else is new..

I too am baffled that Cunningham gets no run. Unless he stinks in practice. Or has a bad 'tude. Or dresses badly. Something.

The only way to get rid of mistakes is to play. Kid has a lot more long-term potential than Farmar.

Once again, baffled.

Lol, yea, the Cłippers need another guard and all offense player

Just to be clear I don't mind this signing becuase it is replacing Cunningham who the team doesn't want to guarantee, just saying that it is funny.

Quincy Miller is looking better, he should definitely be looked at. I think him and Heslip played together at Baylor. Miller struggled to get going with Denver, but is still 22 years old, shot looking good, though Reno is an interesting team to read production from, but he does have a 7'4 wingspan. Gauging his defense (which IIRC has been on of his NBA issues) is the harder part.

Jamal's minutes are down from last season and his lowest as a Cłipper, so not really.

pretty much this

https://twitter.com/DLeagueDigest/status/551807731523682304?s=17 Cłippers might be an interested team. His ACL injury in college has slowed him down. He was supposed to have 3/D potential but showed little proficiency in either in his little time win Denver. Listed at 6'9 but is supposedly 6'11. Looks more like a scorer than anything, but his stroke looks nice despite his poor accuracy in his little time in the NBA. 36.7% in the D-League so far. Obviously like Heslip, the numbers should be pace adjusted since that team scores 141 ppg and plays at an insane pace. 25.6 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 1.9 SPG, 2.4 BPG, 49% FG,....

Maybe he uses and IPhone instead of a Windows based phone!
