Like I've said, JJ Redick >>>> No Bledsoe.
There was absolutely no way in hell we could've kept Bledsoe.

Agreed. I think trades don't always net you the players you would like, but in situations like ours we got something in return, and if Dudley can be traded for a good player then at least he served as a trade chip so potentially we got Redick and a possible expiring contract in Dudley next year. Oh what fun to see what we can turn Jared Dudley into next year lol
He has significant sign and trade value also though, so... It would have been better to keep him.
I'm happy with the JJ part of the trade, I think he improved our offense in many ways. Just wish that Duds was actually a starting-caliber SF. If he was I wouldn't miss Bled much at all.
I hope Eric do not goes to the Lakers. Right now, Lakers have assets to pull off trade like that.
Looks like Bledsoe and the suns talks are getting worse they can't seem to to negotiate anything both sides like. I just read on hoopsrumors
i love it (sarcastic) that a player does good for one year off the bench believes he's a starter and leaves then has a 60/40% injury ratio and starts all kinds of demands..... SMH
whateva.... just like Gordon glad this type of player (attitude) is gone from the clips..... don't need drama queens......
EB will remain with the Suns. Accepting the Qualifying offer.
this was posted a day ago.... seems like they have not reached an agreement yet
Posted 19hrs ago... still no agreement yet
Needless to say, he isn’t exactly thrilled with the Suns and there is concern what originally started out as a solid plan, could backfire on the Phoenix Suns.

no worries.... i'll wait to see the final report....
yes you were so NOT right.... now they are talking about a trade.
lets see what happens within the next few weeks.....
Bledsoe has not "accepted" the Suns' qualifying offer... because he doesn't have to yet. He is still fishing around for better options even though they appear to be drying up.
Either he can accept the 4/48 deal the Suns have offered - or he can sign an offer sheet with any other team that is worth more than the QO (and common sense dictates that it should be more than $12million per year, because obviously the Suns are willing to match that). Offer sheets also have to be for at least two years.
If the Suns match his offer sheet, he's stuck there. If not, he can go to the other team. If he doesn't sign either the 4/48 OR an offer sheet, the QO expires on October 1st, but he is still restricted until he can become a UFA next July, so the Suns can still match any other team's offer for the whole of the upcoming season... it's essentially: "find a better offer, play for us or don't play at all".

The issue is that he thinks he's a max player, but nobody has been willing to offer him a dime more than the Suns have. If he's smart, he'll take the 4/48. It's guaranteed money for a guy who has a history of injuries. If he misses any significant amount of games this year, his value will plummet. Plus, there are much bigger names that teams will be throwing their cap money at next summer before they even look at Bled.
bottom line is that Bledsoe is not a max contract player (or yet). I just wonder where his confidence is from..
Bledsoe is incredibly delusional and imposing respect for him. It's sad I didn't peg him for this behavior. The suns offer was more than fair, considering his injury history. He is not an elite scorer or an elite restricted. He's an elite, defensive minded athlete. Not a great point. Is this him or his agent? He needs new representation. Relieved he isn't our problem.
^ I may be mistaken, but I think he's repped by LeBron's crew.
Personally, I was hoping the lakers would try to buy the pot. It would break my heart a little to see him in the purple and piss, but if they'd have been stupid enough to overbid, it would have been worth it for us.
I like the kid, but he's in Klay Thompson territory of being among the most overrated players in the NBA.
The Suns have agreed a deal. Bledsoe got his big payday!!!!

wow!!! crazy events...... never thought this was gonna happen.... well good for him... hope he's worth it for the suns
still has a lot to prove as a starter but being that he's an ex-clipper and didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth like kaman and gordon did
i wish him the best
That 3 guard combo looks pretty nice, but then again they were playing the Lakers!
Bledsoe got two technical fouls last night at the game versus the Lakers. LOL, I guess he has the moolah not to worry about such a financial distraction.
Yeah Kobe gave him a bit of a bear hug to get a jump ball and Bled's lip blead (pun intended). Bled was not impressed and got his second tech letting it be known.
I seem to have a double post issue ![]()
Or is it just that I need my 20 posts for the the guess the score game?
