Sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.com late Saturday that there is a level of mutual interest between the Clippers and Utah Jazz in exploring a deal that would feature Bledsoe as the headliner in a trade package for Jazz forward Paul Millsap.
I don't really see how the two teams could work out the salary differences in this deal. Deal would also have to include Caron Butler and Gordon Hayward, or something on that level.
I don't get it, why are there several rumours about the Clips trading EBled in deals where there is no PG coming our way? If CP is out for any games who replaces him.? Chauncey could do it but his fitness record is far from reassuring and if Chauncey is in for CP who takes care of the second unit.
I can see why there are rumours about the Clips making a trade that could push us forward so we could be even more legit as a contender but we need a back up PG. It doesn't make sense.
I hinted at this yesterday but didn't want to bring up the "I" word. We love the guy but Chauncey;s durability is in question I would think. this obsession with trading away our backup PG for a forward is still jsut beyond my comprehension.

Why are we doing this to our team chemistry? Would the Jazz probably be the best place if Bledsoe wanted to blossom probably so but not now wait until the offseason

Bledsoe is great insurance, but honestly if any of the players mentioned (CP3, Billups) were to get injured, we're not beating Oklahoma or San Antonio. DJ is going to be a huge liability, they will foul him constantly, we need a more consistent Big.
Well obviuosly this trade wouldn't work straight up because of salaries so if more pieces come together then we will probably see a backup pg come our way.
I wouldn't part with bledsoe without a first round pick coming back our way. Why can't we keep him fornthisnyear and trade later??

I think the only pieces involved would be Bledsoe and butler for millsap and Watson. It seems like Utah is trying to get rid of their expiring contracts because they're not sure if they will resign with Utah again. The reason I see this happening is because Utah wouldn't want odoms contract, grant hill is too old to be desirable, they're good at the center and power forward position already, and I don't think the clippers want to part with Willie green just in case billups gets injured.
I hope this is just the Lakers beat writer trying to stir up trouble. We don't need a PF.

Ramona shelburne is really credible and I doubt she is trying to do that.

This trade baffles me, but I've always loved Milsap he just doesn't fit on our team unless he's going to play SF. If someway we can get Hayward I say do it without even blinking twice.
Id rather take Derrick Favors than Paul Milsap. Start Favors at Center over DJ. Favors > DJ

Hayward is a great player and still has room to grow. He can do a little bit of everything and play 2 positions as well.

Seriously people, I really hope our front office is inquiring bout Derrick Favors. I'd dump a first round pick for this kid in the trade too if we can.
Even though our real need is a young SG/SF for the future, I'd LOVE to add Paul Millsap. We could bring him off the bench, go small start him at PF and Griffin at C, or even go big with Millsap at the 3 (not his natural position but he has shown that he can play there, it's not like Butler is a better defender anyways).
The problem is, if this deal really were to go through, can we re-sign him at the end of the season? He's making 8 million this year, and could be getting a pretty large contract after this year. Regardless, I'm actually excited about this rumor because this deal could really help both sides. I also wish there was a way we could snag Burks from them (because they aren't trading Millsap AND Hayward for Bledsoe, no way the Jazz are that stupid). We'll see what happens.
Jazz would have to take Caron Butler in return with Bledsoe if they sent us Milsap. Salaries don't match up without Butler in the deal. Honestly people I will say it again, Derrick Favors for Bledsoe! Salaries match or are pretty damn close. Favors can start at the 5.

Bledsoe, Butler and Green for Millsap, Hayward and Burks. Burks as a back-up PG, Millsap as a back-up to Blake and Hayward to start at SF.
This is ridiculous. Nobody in their right mind would move Bled for an expiring contract vet backup PF. Then what? Milsap plays with us through the PO's and then signs with a team with cap space. No need to salary dump our cheapest rotation player just to have another guy fighting for scrap minutes behind Blake.
Just stop with this stuff, it's making me nervous. No moves until the summer.

Get used to it until Friday. These are "only" offers by calls that come in with the FO and there will still be some teams offering some.
It doesn´t say anything about us but only (in this case) that Utah would be interested in that kind of trade.

Sometimes gms will put this out there to get a better deal. Who knows Sacks could have leaked these two rumors to make another team up there offer. I dont see us trading bledsoe unless we bring in something to make us a championship favorite. With are roster finally healthy it does suck to see bledsoe get so little run. I think we end up holding onto bledsoe and maybe after CP3 resigns in the off season we make a move then.

I think we want Favors in the deal as well. Bledsoe Butler and a 1st for Favors Millsap and Hayward. Maybe toss em Turiaf too, isn't he expiring?
I don't like this at all considering Millsap is still undersized and we'd have to resort to playing small ball at the end of games because DJ is obviously going to be on the bench. Also, his salary restricts our long-term flexibility (the little that we have) and he's going to get paid once he becomes a free agent. I still think the best option for Bled would be to get some high draft picks and a decent center with fundamentals.

Millsap is only 6-8, shoots 36% from downtown, and is great at steals so he could play small forward. Also, he is a very good power forward already so we would have great options. As far as our lineup, if we were to trade bledsoe and butler for him this would be our rotation.

Agree completely. KG is one thing, but someone in Milsap's class is a marginal upgrade - if it even is an upgrade. I'm not sure Milsap really would make up for what we'd lose in Bledsoe.
