Both vs Clips and both games the Clips are on the.2nd of a back to back.
Golden State only plays 2 games next wk
Clippers Forum » Clippers News & General DiscussionsThe second of the back to back or actually the first of the back to back against Denver will probably be the end of the streak. I mean I would love to see the Clips continue this streak, but I just don't see how winning those two back to back away games is possible. Nuggets played Memphis incredibly tough tonight in Memphis. GS will be on us like nothing we have ever seen before on that game.
our overall schedule January through February will be pretty rough... 8 back to backs... pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
That will be the ultimate test especially if we beat the Jazz again to extend our winning streak. One thing to be positive about, the Clippers are built for tough back 2 backs. As long as we put Denver away early, we'll have a great shot at beating the Warriors. Let's not forget that the Clippers already lost to the Warriors so they have them marked on their calendar. The revenge factor should be on our side. The key is to put away Denver early. If we have a grind it out game against the Nuggets, it will be very tough to beat the Warriors. If the Clippers win both games to extend their streak to 19, we are for real for real.
These stupid teams cant help us keep our distance between GSW, OKC, & MEM. We just have
to do it ourselves playing OKC, MEM & GSW (3x) in January. ![]()
I think we are done proving we are for real at this point.
and flakers fans still complain how the league is against them. next time some flaker fan complains about the nba, punch him in the face. lol
Vinny should pull a Pop and rest Blake, CP3 and maybe Butler for the Nuggets gm in protest.
After watching the Warrior's recap games, I'm afraid the Clippers are going to lose to them. Mark Jackson has a vendetta against them, especially since Jamal Crawford broke his old free throw record, so he'll make these games personal. Dubs could take the season series of upward to 3 games and give the Clippers a free one. Clippers will be forced to face the Warriors in the playoffs.
Well, the Clippers have their own vendetta against to Warriors. It won't be a pretty game but I do see the Clippers pulling it off while scoring less than 90. There will be T's and there will be flagrent fouls.
And ejections. If one Clipper gets ejected, Golden State will automatically win.
Unless Chauncey Billups is in the lineup, I don't know if Clippers can stand a chance against them.
Won't be surprised if Blake and Lee get in a scuffle. Blake will go for a Mozgov and Lee will slam Blake to the floor and everyone will lose their sh!t. The Warriors are definitely a rival. I don't like them, that's for sure. Right now, the Grizz, Lakers, and Warriors are my 3 most hated teams.
Since when is Lee a tough guy?
February is always a tough schedule for both the Fakers and us because of the damn Grammy's. Remember that 11-game road trip? That was unheard of.

Yeah,,we only have to do 8 in a row this year !
Guys, the streak will end some day and the next week is grueling and these back to backs are insane, but we are still looking fine, playing fine and I predict in a week we will still be in the lead in the Pacific. Our team is real. If we can get the bench to play the entire 4th in the first of the b-2-backs we could pull this off.
That Laker game will be nasty though. Kobrick will jack up 50 shots trying to beat us on his own and I suspect more then one bad foul and a billion bad calls that all go against us.
I am not worried about winning the Pacific. The GSW and Lakers are so far behind us in the standings I can't even see them. I would like to maintain 1st seed in the West but looking at the schedule the OKC has and our schedule I am not sure if that is possible.
Having HCA against the Thunder in the playoffs would be very nice considering how
difficult it is playing in Oklahoma. Also improves CP3's MVP chances which is nice. ![]()

Having a 4 game (after tonight's victory
) lead over GSW with 51 games to go isn't exactly
what I would call "so far behind us". Their not going away this year,
unless they are hit over the head with more injuries.
They have an even tougher schedule than us coming up. The gap will only increase unless we lose both games against them. I see us winning two and losing one splitting the series 2-2.
Teams they will face
Clippers x3
Grizzlies
Trailblazers
Heat
Nuggets(at home only mentioning this since the Nuggets are not a good road team)
Spurs
Hornets
Thunder
Bulls
They are only facing one bad team during that stretch and Eric Gordon and AD are healthy so even that could be a problem.
They will drop like crazy during this difficult stretch.
Just watched some of the GS game last night. Man, those guys can shoot! It looked like when they played us earlier this season, where they shot the lights out. It's no wonder Lee is having such a great season. Other than his ability to shoot from the outside (which he has in common with his teammates), he got easy baskets because he would be single covered or not covered at all.
Having said all that, I'd hate to root for a team that relies so much on outside shooting. At some point shots will stop falling, especially in the post season. That's what I like about our team. We do it inside as well as out. We've been winning, even blowing teams out, without necessarily having hot shooting nights. And it's primarily because we have the best defense in the league. I call it the best because I'm including our ability to force turnovers along with holding teams to a low percentage and number of points.
GS is vulnerable. Even if they're shooting well, we should be able to make it tougher on them and certainly force them to turn the ball over. All we have to do is take care of the ball and play our style of offense.

Or they can just move it across the street at the Nokia Theatre...

You forget to mention how tough our schedule will be also, particularly on the road. IMO their not going away....we'll see.
Pop woulda sat the stars for this Denver gm
^ well yeah since ginobili and duncan are older than all of our starters.
Im gonna be biting my nails 2morrow. ![]()
With our bench, the stars get all the rest they need. That's not a problem.

Why do you hate the Warriors? What have they done to you?
