What are your thoughts on the game today versus the New Orleans Pelicans? What must the Clippers do earn a win? Which opposing player(s) should L.A. focus on? Will the game be bombs away by both teams or first to 90 gets the W?

Clips officially signed CJ Williams to a 3 years deal but no Tyrone Wallace.

Why is this even on ESPN... forget protecting the league, this is another L. And I don't care... I guess the only game I care to win is vs LAL Wink Just like old times... out of the playoffs and just playing for "bragging rights".

Doc should start Harrell next to Tobias. Have some fun. See how the spacing looks with Harrell and DJ in the paint for a whole game.

Looks like Boban hurt his finger- hopefully it's not serious.

This group is doing a job- cuts the deficit to just 1.

Sindarius the steal, then the bingo to give the Clips the lead!

A boatload of turnovers by the Clippers and just like that they're down by 10 at the half.

Ouch- the Pelicans are embarrassing the Clippers now- lob off the backboard for a monster jam by AD.

Boban at least is giving the fans something to cheer for.

Holy crap what a dunk by Sindarius Thornwell- dunk of the year candidate for the Clippers for sure!

Thornwell showing the all around game upside I expect. I think he could be the starting SG next year and grow big time on both ends.

DJ had really good rebounding #'s, but ended up with a +/- of -36. He looked pretty clueless out there on D tonight- often times would rather wait for a rebound instead of challenging a Pelican going to the hoop.

I saw that plus minus and thought it had to be mistake, that’s crazy he was -36 and Dekker was +19

We'll have to see how much work Sindarious puts in this offseason.. he could make a nice sized leap next season. Start off by shooting 1000 threes a day

I think Sindarious really needs to work on his shot off the dribble and also just needs to slow his play down a bit when he drives to the rim. He goes to fast and tends to loose control of the ball. In college his drives were so much better I think he just play a Little nervous. They say it all slows down a bit more the next yr so I hope this is true for him. I also agree that he needs to works on his 3 point shot. He could be a really good or great SG in this league. A real 3 and D guy.

Sindarious if given a chance has a lot of potential, he is athletic. His defense is real.

Nice analysis. I agree wholeheartedly. Slowing down would result in better finishes in the paint. Seems like he rarely finishes.

This. People say DJ played great he had this and this many rebounds, shot 80% from the field etc. and +/- is a misleading stat. It certainly is most of the time but for gods sake when a guy constantly has the worst +/- on your team, and has THE WORST +/- on the year then the stat says: when this guy is on the floor, your team plays worse than your opponent.

https://www.foxsports.com/nba/los-angel ... amp;time=0

Look at those number you people who say DJ is the clippers best player. He is DEAD LAST ON THE TEAM IN +/- FOR THE YEAR and it's not that close. He is at -111 for the year (over 76 games that puts him at -1.41 per game). Second to last is Thornwell who played a bunch of garbage minutes and is (even if promising) a late second round pick. Any way you look at it, the implication is that DJ was hurting this team this year.

The guy basically stopped protecting the rim, and all he produced this year was empty rebounding numbers, while not being able to put consistent offensive output. Not to mention he looked uninterested for the most year. And he wants a max deal? He was butt hurt that he was not fed in the post like he's Hakeem the Dream. If he wouldn't get stripped every other time he tried a (predictable AF) post move and missed a bunny layup the other time maybe the team would feed him more just like they do with Harrell. Maybe if he f***** tried to block shots and not just stand around waiting for the ball to get to his hands the team would reward the big fella with more touches. Maybe if he contested shots inside and outside the paint with more effort than raising his hand long after the ball left his mans hand they would reward the big fella with some touches.

This year he proved what a immature pansy he really is.

I've preferred Thornwell over Ty given the choice. We've got Thornwell locked in cheap and Ty will cost. We can have a year to see if Thornwell can develop CHEAP. With Ty if he's a bust we're stuck. I think he was told not to shoot just pass the ball. He's big and tough. That dunk was one of the best of the year, A Mozgov. CJ and Thornwell have shown heart. Ty has shown talent. You can develop talent, you can't develop heart. In the past all of the talking heads considered us the bleached Blondes of the NBA. Now they all talk about how we never quit. TREZL scored on Davis.

Getting to my favorite player since Zbo - Trezz "the Hammer". He has no back to the hoop game and he can't shoot but he's as agile on his feet as an Arthur Murray Dancer. He can't jump but neither could Zbo. Evidently Trezz went to a Christian military boarding school. Those places either teach you discipline or make you a BG. I don't think Hou knew how good he is. D can be taught and he like Zbo has the body, actually better. I think he will DESTROY BG next year.

For years, I made excuses for my Dear Departed Dog when he peed on the house plants. For years I made excuses when DJ acted like a 10 year old. After Mr. Barkley was gone, the house plants grew quite well. As far as his shooting %, this means nothing. I posted the % of HOF centers. Most were ~52% and Wilt was 54+%.
