After the G-League season is over, they can finish out the rest of the season, so the last 10 games.

Because he did well against Doc’s team last year. That’s how he rolls.

Joe Ingles 2.0 is happening right now with Wallace. IDIOTIC not to lock him up now. Pay the main a decent salary of 2-4 mill a year for say 2 or 3 years.

He's going to get more than that.

We are becoming Lakers fans. Blame Jim Buss for all the bad moves and give credit to Mitch Kupchak for all the good moves. They did that for years. Doc is not the GM. Lawrence Frank is. Give him credit and blame when moves are made. Doc is only the coach now.

I don't think anybody is blaming Doc for bad moves NOW, but he WAS responsible for letting Ingles walk.

Doc is a good coach, but has proven to be a marginal judge of talent, at best. Ingles was shunned and we actually paid for Dudley to leave, and then he put up some pretty good numbers in the next few years. Remember Ekpe Udoh. He sat on the bench the whole year for Doc. Now he is playing well for Utah. I think the list goes on and there are other players that I can't think of. Maybe you guys can. We are lucky that Doc is just the coach now.

I think one of the mercurial things about Doc was that at times it was Doc the GM that hindered it for Doc the coach, and other times it was Doc the coach who hindered it for Doc the GM. What I mean by that is that Doc's signings weren't all bad, and Cole Aldrich, Lance Stephenson, Reggie Bullock, and Raymond Felton come to mind as decent signings, but these signings were in vain as Doc the coach wouldn't play them. Then Doc as GM did some real stupid things like include a draft pick for someone to take Stephenson and include a pick for someone to take Dudley. Also stocking the roster with old Celtics players and washed up Lakers players like Antwon Jamison and Wesley Johnson was just very dumb.

Ah the hubris of the GM/coach combo. Will Doc be forgiven for his squandering the CP3 and BG years? He(and maybe some of his cronies) should be shown the door and so should SVG, the failed GM/coach in Detroit. We were lucky there was another desperate, hubris laden fool to fleece.

CP3 and BG were just as responsible for squandering those years. Blowing a 13 point lead with a minute and a half wasn't Doc's fault. Blowing a 3-1 lead and a 19 point lead in a WCF clinching game was not Doc's fault. CP and Blake both could have taken less money so we can build better pieces around them. It's tough to make moves when you don't have much money to spend. So then you do have to make risky moves for guys like Spencer Hawes and Jared Dudley because those are the only guys out there. I agree that Doc the GM was a complete failure, but CP and BG should be held accountable too. They were the leaders. Superstars have more impact than coaches. Look how bad the Spurs are looking without their stars playing. They are endanger of ending their playoff streak.

Remember we traded away zbo when we got Blake. Would our championship runs been any better (or worse) if we had zbo, cp3, etc?

Yes, good point. Doc the coach has struggled with who to play and what minutes. Since he relinquished his GM duties, he is better. At the beginning of this season, I would have been OK with his firing. Now, I think we should keep him another year.

The signing of Kilpatrick could qualify as the most boring thing to ever happen in Clipperland.
