How will the Clippers do in the game today versus the Atlanta Hawks. What must the Clippers do earn a win? Who on the Hawks should LA be careful of? Will the game be first to 110 wins or a half-court struggle?

Any word on Blake? I'll be at the game just wondering if he's going to play.

Yeah Tyrone Wallace looks like he can do it all (except shoot 3's). Apparently he had a crazy 26-13-8-5-5 game recently in the G Leauge.

6'5" point guard, this is what we need to polish. Not afraid to drive, can cut and know how to pass the ball.

Evans reminds me of Eric Bledsoe

It's not even funny how bad Wes Johnson is. Terrible shot selection, bad defense, turnovers, missed rebounds. I really hope we can find a taker for him at the deadline.

On another note, as much as I hated losing Jamil Wilson, Wallace does look promising.

Switchg back and forth between the Bama game and this. Looks like Evans is growing up fast

I just don't understand how Doc isn't smart enough to learn how to use the bench. Why are we running small ball when we also have Willie Reed on the bench. I don't care if another team runs small ball we should be killing them!

Lou & DJ on the bench- it's getting dicey as the lead has been cut to 2

Fantastic win! This one was all will power.

Their length gave us some trouble whenever DJ went out. I feel like Willie Reed would've helped remedy that had he gotten a little pt. Very suspect rotations from Doc at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th, but you can't really complain when you come out with a win.

They won but it shouldn't feel that good since they should of blown this team away. Poor rotations by Doc and awful plays. Dekker doesn't seem to be comfortable again. Every Time they come up court it seems like they keep turning their heads over to the coaching area. You really can't play like that every offensive posesion. If I'm right they are told to look for a play to be run regardless of the open option which will haunt the clippers. When they were winning in those 4 games straight they were playing more freely now it looks more restrictive. Doc can't put all the load on Lou. One last thing Wesley did get some defensive plays BUT he is now a very limited offensive player. He is missing the drive to the basket and the shot as well. Plays without confidence on the offensive side. I know we want to get rid of Brice but I would give Brice a start over Wesley and have him prove that he belongs with the clips. If he doesn't produce or fails then trade him.

CJ is worth keeping so something has to be done. They can trade Wesley for all I care he isn't showing anything promising either.

Yeah Doc is nonsense on the rotations. I don't get it.

Trade Wes? Dekker has done nothing. He's afraid to shoot. Wes has as many blocks as DJ and played tough. Good D. As far as rebuilding --damn-- CJ, Evans and #12 look good. Milos may be gone? Is Beverly replaceable? Get another center and a SF please. I wish we could have kept Jamil. Unfortunately Lou will be expen$ive but we'll have a bunch of cheap guys. Austin has a player option. He continues with the monster mash who knows? If he's not a starter, he's gone and it will be our loss.

We should have blown them away? We were playing with four rookies one was fresh out of the G league.Wes should be in China and Dekker was worthless. Lou has been a bench guy. You don't understand Doc's rotations but you do understand that he won with scrubs. We haven't had the same starting line up twice and these guys haven't played together. Give the devil his due guys.

Yep but need to trade somebody to give a spot for him, Decker, Wes Brice even Beverly and Milos, my excitement with him is over, even if he has a good court vision. he is soft, slow and no defense, I would rather have CJ Williams, Wallace hopefully Jamil but he is gone. What excite me now was what move the FO is planning now what this team looks like after the trade deadline?

We're 3 games back from .500 and we're doing it with a bunch of G-league rejects and y'all complaining about coaching LMAO. Not a Doc cheerleader but this team's record should be closer to the lakers not the 8th spot

LMAO!! You clearly don't know what kind of team we have meaning the clippers. Yes they should of won big given the talent we have and the fact the they were playing Atlanta who has the worst record in the NBA. Look at the Lakers who beat them by 20. Anyways, yes trade Wesley he might have some good defense at times but mentally has lapses with scoring and making the good passes. The clippers were playing better without him and had found a good chemistry when he was out with the injury. Dekker was playing better and everyone was contributing. Yes rotation wise Doc sometimes is way off. I watch all the games they play and see what is working and sometimes it gets disrupted when Doc decides to make some not so good substitutions.

Like i said, you can't complain about a win, but we were very lucky to win this game. Getting a step back 3 from a guy that doesn't even have a guaranteed contract, is not how the coach drew it up. CJ Williams won us that game along with Jawun Evans defense.

Doc surely did not win that game with good coaching. We won through superior will power and that's about it. If we had held on to our lead and won by 10 or so like it looked like we would up until the end of the 3rd, then I could say "Great coaching by Doc". That wasn't the case, but I'm still happy with the win. Also, that Hawks team is one of the few teams in the league that are "scrubbier" than we are.

Wes is good on defense which is awesome, but he's bad at everything else. He doesn't even use his size, length, and athleticism to try and get to the rim. If he's not shooting a corner 3 or out in transition, he's useless offensively. Defensively, he makes good plays from time to time, but he's definitely no stopper. He's also gotten away from his mid range jumpshot which was his only legitimate offensive weapon.

Between Wes and Dekker, Dekker is the smarter player offensively, and Wes is the superior defender. If you could combine their strengths, you'd still only come up with a decent sf off the bench (still not starting caliber). Those 2 combined probably make a longer/more athletic CJ Williams, at best.

I don't think it's possible to move Wes, though Dekker may have some value in a package with either of the Johnsons. Brice Johnson sucks btw. Js

Dekker vs. Wesley.

Dekker is in a shooting slump that has drained his confidence. His shooting will come back. Since, he has taken to attacking the rim and running and has played very well in all other aspects of his game. Wesley is a career 33% shooter from three, is not getting better and is 31 years old, almost a basketball generation older than Dekker. Dekker is improving, while Wesley has played himself off of several teams and last year played himself out of the rotation with us despite having almost no competition at the SF spot.

Give me Dekker.

In the mean time, it's funny, but we have 5 of our top 7 players from the start of the season not playing. Lou and DJ are it. We shouldn't be able to beat anyone, or even compete, but the fact that we are still competitive, winning some games, is a testament to West and the front office for their ability to identify quality young talent and, drum roll please, Doc for empowering them and using them well.

Evans, Williams, Thornwell, Harrell, Dekker and Wallace are spectacular young talents, given their draft positions. I believe Dekker was the only first rounder in that group and he wasn't a top ten. All six of them are going to have long NBA careers. That is stunning.

Coaching just needs to put the players in the position to be able to win, they can't do everything. Bud didn't do the for his team. Fouling DJ was an awful decision.

As much as it pains me to say it, Doc has coached these guys very well this season based on the circumstances. It's been an adjustment all season, and he's pivoted and pivoted based on what players he has, and he has them competing most nights. It's hard to really hate on the guy right now. We know he's a terrible GM, yes, but he seems to have his players ear again, if he even ever lost it as we thought, and if he has that, Doc is still an above average coach, and he's showing it.

One could assume that having the responsibility of president, Gm, and coach made it so he was not able to focus and be great at any of them.

He is coaching a lot better than I have seen in the past few years.
